We have recently put in a pool and our dog will not stop swimming in it. She mainly just splashes in the first step. Is there any easy way of stopping this???
The bowl scrapes the ground when he eats. That’s his new fear, so he dosen’t eat. I got one of those fancy bowls with a soft bottom but still. And then my other dog, she’s slick she’ll eat all the fancy soft food only even when I mix it, and leave him the hard food so he won’t have that incentive to eat. I’ve been leaving food on the floor for him but I can’t keep it up. He has to be trained to eat from the bowl. Any ideas?
Buffy is my 4 year old pit bull. He is EXTREMLY smart, very loyal and protective…he is always investigating his surrounding and has NEVER been scared of ANYTHING but….the POOL. Its kinda sad because that is the last thing that Buffy should be scared of. I also have a 7 month old puppy pit bull named Rossi and I cant seem keep Rossi out of the pool he is a fish he loves it! I would love to see both Rossi and Buffy playing in the pool. This is what I’ve tried so far with Buffy; sitting with Buffy on the steps of the pool, I hold Buffy in my arms and walk around the pool, tried to get him in with dog treats, even went as far as getting a electric boat that drives around the pool! HAHA. Pit Bulls are known for being stubborn dogs. I know a lot about the breed and I’m very good with dogs. Both Buffy & Rossi know every trick in the book and respond very well to my voice when I tell them to do something. I just can’t seem to get Buffy to get over his fear of the pool. HELP!

My dog is young but she already broke two collars, one of which was metal. What is the strongest collar I can get her that won’t be too unconfortable for her? Also, some guy kicked my dog after she snapped her collar and ran down the street and then threatened to call animal control on her. She has never done anything bad at all to anyone. Can he do that?
