is it unreasonable to ask my stay at home husband, not wash the dog bowls in the kitchen sink or dishwasher?
Or with our dish spong/cloth?
Am I being unreasonable? He is british, and has been with me in the states for just over a year. I love him, but he thinks I am being unreal and a nag.
Do other people do this?
Is this sanitary? I love my dog of 7 years but I dont eat out of his plates and I dont want him to eat out of mine, nor does he drink from my glasses. His dog doesnt either. I just do not think its clean.
He could wash them in the bathroom sink, I would be ok with that, and if they had their own sponge. We have a small house and the bathrom is very close to the kitchen corner where their bowls are so its not out of the way to take them to wash in the bathroom.

HUNTER2…….NO HE DOES NOT DO THE OTHER CHORES, WE SHARE THEM! BUT YES, WHEN I MAKE THE BED, HE DOES NOT LIKE THE WAY I DO THAT, OR THE LAUNDRY. DO NOT GET ME STARTED ABOUT THE LAUNDRY, I HAVE A LIST OF HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE HANGING IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM, MAYBE I AM OBSESSIVE BUT I HAVE ONE OF THE CLEANEST AND FUNNEST HOUSES YOU COULD COME TO, WE HOST SEVERAL PARTIES A MONTH, AND EVERYONE RAVES ABOUT OUR HOME.
ALSO…..I HATE THE FACT THAT HE DOES NOT COVER LEFT OVER FOOD BEFORE PUTTING IN THE FRIDGE.

YEA me, I have a MAN that is willing to cook and wash dishes ! GEEZ…..but the dog slime in my mind is the YUCK THING thats over the top.

Heck no, you’re not being unreasonable. I love my dog too. But i wash her bowls outside and not in my kitchen sink or dishwasher. He’s gets to stay home and NOT WORK, could he at least oblige by doing you this one little favor? Men.
