i have wrote an event that will stay in my mind forever. i made this for my freshmen english class but want to know what other’s think. Please and thank you

Ever had the feeling that no matter what you do its just going to make things worse. No matter how hard you tried, it was all for nothing? We just need to accept the fact that there are some problems out there that cant be resolved. Some times there is a time to give up on someone. I never did believe that. I that there was always a way to fix things. I didn’t realized how stupid I was being.
Well I cant really say it wasn’t my fault how this whole thing turned out, but I did do something to start it. When I was going to middle school there was a blogging website called MySpace. I asked my mom if she could get me on it. And so we got to the main page, but as soon as my mom tried it out and made sure it was save, she was addictive to it. Ever since things had always been the same, my little brother leaving the house more than he would sleep at home. My step dad was a truck driver so he wasn’t home often and slept when he was. But the more thing that was the problem about this whole dilemma was that my mom would always be on MySpace. Once I went to the basement stairs all I hear was the clicking sounds of the keyboard. That was until I made an attempt to stop it all.
My first idea was at least to compromise with my mom and help her break her habit. It was a cloudy day, the skies usually gray leaves kept falling from the trees, and it was very chilly. As I was riding on the school bus on the way home I wonder what awaited me in breaking this cycle. The bus was quiet with not one peep in ear range as I rode the bus that day. And since I was the last one off it took patients returning home. As the bus driver finally halted to a stop and pulled the lever which opened the door I made my way across the aisle of empty seats. Off the bus I notice something. The neighbor’s mailbox number was chipped off. Instead of saying 6018 it said 6013, which kind of freaked me out.
I walked into my front yard miniature hill and entered. I dropped my book bag by the couch on my right. My two dogs sheba and jack were excited to greet me. Even tom, one of my cats missed me was made me feel happy because he’s usually to busy sleeping or hiding to greet anyone. The living room that I had enter had a weird, but often smell in the air. The entertainment system was on the west wall facing the east which located a couch with a hallway right by it. On the south part of the room was a second couch facing the kitchen. In the middle of the living room was a glass table with a lot of papers on it just like the entertainment system did. There was no wall separating the kitchen and the living room except the difference of the livening room carpet floor and the kitchen hard floor. The kitchen had a sink and a door leading to the basement on the west side. A stove, refrigerator and a door leading to the back yard on the north. And a door leading to the garage on the east side. Thus like the living room, the kitchen had a table in the middle except the kitchen table was wooden not glass.
As I maneuver through the stampede of pets I walked down the basement steps. I heard clicking noises as I walked down the steps. Reaching the bottom steps I saw my mom on the computer. The basement was actually the biggest room in the house. It had a litter box and a broken pool table on the north side from where I was facing. A bed that we barely ever use and a computer on the west side. And on the south wall, which was right by me had a door that lead to the laundry room.
I jumped on to the bed and stared at my mom for about five minutes. I then asked my mom “maybe you should take a break.” She did answer.
“Mom did you hear me?”
Yet again no answer.
“Mom!” I yelled
“Oh I’m sorry Chris what do you want?”
“Did you hear a word I just said?”
“Yea something about wanting to go to a dance.”
I slapped my forehead.
“No mom, I want you to take a break from that thing.”
“Alright I won’t get on it tomorrow.”
“Promise?”
That question never got answered with words, only clicking noises from the key board

Of course her promise was never kept, only delayed. She would always put it off to another day or just say she forgot. I had faith in her but I lost my patience’s. Finally I knew that I had to stop her instead of trusting her. So one day I did something that would stop her by force. She then realized what I did. I was in the living room watching TV when she confronted me.

“Where is it?!” she yelled.

“Where’s what?” I bluffly wondered

“Don’t play games with me boy; you tell me where it is now!”

“I really don’t know what you’re talking about”

“Give it to me now!”

She then gave me a look. This look was a sign that she was serious
