If i Hand feed it to her she will eat.Sometimes if i put it in front of her with out the bowl she will eat it.She has gotten skinnier and her fur is thinner i have tried different bowls but that is not the problem.She is a pomeranian and she is my baby and i hate seeing her ike this!
There is a dog next door names Cody. The family that lives with him is always gone and they just keep him in the backyard. I feed him through the fence and he ate 3 bowls of my dog’s food. It’s cold outside
and he has short fur. They starve him and never play with him. I was thinking about taking him to the SPCA. Should I take him or leave him until the owners come home like they do every now and then?

I really want to get another pet, I LOOOVE animals 
I’ve all ready asked my mom and dad if maybe I could get a guinea pig. I researched them well, to make sure I am able to provide for them. I showed them pictures of how cute they were and told them what they need and stuff. They shot me down with a stern no, right away. "No more animals in this house!" I’ve been trying for months, but unfortunately it’s a no on the guinea pig. Then one day I was in Petco looking at the animals. I came across this beautiful sky blue parakeet. I fell in love and wanted one so bad. I asked my mom. And she gave me an even more sure no. She says they smell and are loud and discusting. I told her that They don’t smell, and that this one is very quiet, the rest were chirping and this one was just sweet Then I said I could keep it in my room so that you would never hear it or smell it. I said that I’d clean it’s cage every day if I had too, and I meant it. Ok, I have two questions.
1. How do I convince my mom to let me get a bird.
OR 2. what is a pet that would fit these requirements? There is no way that I’d have a chance unless it fit under these: can’t smell, can’t be noisy, can’t be dirty, can’t be too big, can’t eat crickets or bugs, can’t be a mouse or something, she HATES mice. {I think they are soo cute Is there anything that would fit under those requirements besides a fish? {I have one of those already} Also, I tried showing them I was responsible for one. I started doing things I never did often. I kept my room clean {it’s usually ridiculesly messy!} I was the first one to give my dog food and water when she needs it, I brush her every night {she needs to be cause of her curly hair} I taught hre a few new tricks, she always get’s stuff caught in her fur and I always cut them out. I put my wet towels from my pool in the tub, I set the table, and stuff like that. It really shows because my brother just says to me "hey misty {our dog} has something stuck in her fur!" and does nothing about it, so I step in. Then when my brother is playing video games I set the table. Yet whenever I menchion a pet they turn me down. Can someone please help? P.S REALLY sorry about my huge questiion! My dad is looking to get my dog just something to wear for a party as a joke. He wants me to look for a collar with a bunch of fur that goes around it so my dog would look like a lion. Like a collar that has a bunch of fur real long in a circular like a lion. Any ideas of where I might be able to find any of this???
What type of collar do you use for your dog?
Do you leave it on all the time? Or just when the dog is out of the house? (Obviously it’s not safe to leave collars on dogs in crates.)
Is there any collar you refuse to use, or hate when other people use?
Now that microchipping is becoming so popular and affordable, are collars becoming obsolete?
I usually leave my dogs’ collars on, with the exception of my standard poodle. I worry that his fur could get matted with the collar rubbing on it all the time, and so I leave it off a lot unless we are going somewhere. I was just wondering what everyone else thought about collars.
To clarify, I don’t mean collars obsolete as in not having a dog on lead, I meant it more as ‘for identification’ purposes.
Obviously dogs should always be on the leash when not in their yard/home.
You people can be so nitpicky sometimes. 
We have an extremely oversized Rottweiler that we can’t seem to find a proper collar for. The only thing we’ve been able to find is a chain collar, but it’s rubbing away his fur and it’s making me angry. I hate to see that on my poor baby.
We ordered a 32/33" leather collar, but it doesn’t quite fit. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
if you went shopping yesterday and bought useless things like pink luggage, pink fur backpacks, and cute little stuffed toys for your princess and then took her teeny lil white dog in for a grooming and bought her a bunch of new clothes and a couple very fancy collars with matching rhinestone charms? All this without paying a bill or even buying one non-snack food item? My point is should I feel guilty if I am thinking of using my food pantry from now on instead of grocery shopping? I mean it’s here and it’s got ground beef and chicken as well as peanut butter. What more could I want?
Designers are taking fur from dogs and raccoon dogs and skinning them alive for there Sh**y f’n coats i saw it today on the today news i cant believe it anyone upset about this like me! they are doing cruelty to dogs and should be put in to jail but bad news for the raccoon dogs which are actually legal to hav their fur! the next time you see those dam ugly puffy jackets with the fur at the hood part buy it and then ripp it apart in there face! only if it’s dog fur.( read the labels or translate them in to english )
To those who show dogs in conformation shows, do you use those high quality shampoos, conditioners, volumizers, sprays & all those fancy stuff? What brand/s do you use?
For my Goldens, I use Chris Christensen & Pro Gold products. I also use anti-static, volumizer sprays & gel to make their fur look thicker & bouncier. Chris Christensen has this Colour Treatment Shampoo which is like yellow dye that helps to restore the gold pigment. I absolutely LOVE it! It makes River’s coat look gold & shiny.
Unfortunately, my airconds are barely on because we can’t afford it so their shedding all the time including River & all my dogs are eating good food but it isn’t helping much. River’s coat is thick but still short & the Gold Treatment Shampoo is to just to enhance the colour a little bit more. I always make sure my dogs go in the ring looking their best so I do whatever I can to make them look as good or better than the rest of the GRs in the ring.
TJ, is it okay for the dogs to smell "like dogs" in the show ring?
Oh by the way, the climate here is very different from America & other countries. It’s hot & humid all year round & the dogs get pretty oily & smelly within a few days after a good bath.
Curtis, SURE! You can live in my house. I want to live somewhere that is cool or cold! I am sick & tired of this weather!!! I hate sweating all the time… Plus, I think my dogs will smell a LOT less in a cool or cold weather.
A.Artwork, Chris Christensen shampoos & conditioner don’t make the dog’s coat soft nor dry. The conditioner is very light. Feels almost watery so it does not make the coat so soft. And that’s why I like that brand alot. I usually use protein shampoos as it helps to keep the coat healthy.
I live in upstate New York, and my family had a rather large house cat ( at least 20 pounds). Sometime between 8:00am and 11:00am he was attacked and killed by some wild animal. All we could find was his collar and alot of his fur, and some intestines. Im just wondering what type of wild animal would attack in the day time like that. We have already ruled out any of the neighbors dogs. Any insight would be appreciated.
