Why could my dog have runny stools?
Yesterday I noticed she had loose stools and today she has them again. She has worms(she will get treated for those later), could that be why her stools are loose? Also she eats out of my other dogs bowl, he’s on adult food, I know a sudden change in food can make a dog sick, is this why her stools or loose? She has no blood in it.
She isn’t acting any different, she is still lively and full of energy

Yes, worms can cause stools to be runny. If you know she has worms, you should have already begun the de-worming. Waiting just lets them continue to multiply. My oldest had such a bad run in with worms because who ever had him as a puppy never had him wormed. It took a few MONTHS to get it under control again.
If she’s eating his food it could also be adding to the loose stools. Or she might have gotten into something else within the past 2 days. Get her into the vet and have them run a fecal.

Could be worms or a hundred other reasons. If I were you I’d start by treating the worms …it’s not a good idea to wait!

Please go to the vet. Take a sample of her poo and the worms to the vet. Let them prescribe the right wormer . There will be endless worms , eggs and larvae inside your dog. They multiply and will take all her nourishment , make her skinny and she will eventually die. Worms are dangerous if you do not get this seen too urgently. And you need to get her wormed every 3 months. Don’t bother with OTC wormers.

i would say it could be most likely the food or even something she dug up and eaten keep a good eye on her if she starts foaming at the mouth call a vet as i dont know where you are a bait for foxes ect could have been placed somewhere but if ur in town you should be fine if it keeps up call a vet but i would slow the meaty food and use soaked dry food soak it till it soft enough for the dog to eat easily
…. hope it helps
worm asap and you will have to do all dogs and clean the whole yard ect after but wait till stools are tight again

worms and a change of food can cause loose stools. treat both dogs right away for worms and make sure u get the right meds for their weight and age from ur vet.infestations can cause many problems since they take all the good out of dogs and they can get up into the heart and other organs.

The worms, they need treatment. A cause of Runny could be guardia, a flora in intestines, the Vet will give you a Plastic container to pick up his Poo for a samle to test. One dog per bowl for now, Infection is Easy spread.
